Is my data sent to a server to be converted?

Data and unit conversion happen on your device. Currency conversion is the exception: live exchange rates need a connection, so that one tab makes a request for the rates themselves.

Which conversions are supported?

CSV, JSON, YAML, Base64 and Markdown for data; length, weight, temperature and more for units; and live rates for currency.
