Slide Editor

Build a slide deck in your browser and save it as a real .pptx file, or export the whole deck as a PDF. Slides are laid out and written on your own device, so a deck you are still drafting never leaves the machine you drafted it on, connection or no connection.

How to make a .pptx deck in your browser

  1. Open the slide editor and add your first slide.
  2. Give each slide a title and body — bullets, text and layout choices per slide.
  3. Reorder slides as the argument changes shape.
  4. Save as .pptx for PowerPoint or Keynote, or Export PDF to send something that cannot be edited.

Questions

Will PowerPoint open the file it makes?

Yes — it writes a genuine .pptx, not a screenshot or an approximation. Keynote and Google Slides open it too.

Can I import an existing presentation?

Export to .pptx and PDF is the supported direction today. Opening an existing .pptx for editing is not yet available.
